Your personal pocket stylist
What is it?
Looker is a mobile app that helps the user to create a look* with the items in his/her wardrobe.
*In fashion, the term look means “style, outfit”. These are clothes, shoes, accessories, make-up—everything that creates a person's unique style.
The main features
of the app are:
- Wardrobe organization
- Outfit creation
- Shopping recommendations

Wardrobe organization
To start using
the app, the user
needs to complete several steps:
-
1Take a photo of an item against a contrasting background so that
the neural net can identify its type and color; -
2Save the result* of the first step in the virtual wardrobe.
In the future updates of the app, the neural network will be able to identify the brand of the item in the photo.
*If the AI has not identified the type of item, then the user
should enter the type, color and other characteristics of the item.

Outfit creation
The main and most interesting
feature for the user is the creation of an outfit with his/her
wardrobe
The first option (saved looks)
The simplest option, yet it helps save the storage used for millions of photos in the user's phone.
The second option (random looks)
The highlight of the app. This method generates looks based on popular images on the web (bloggers,
celebrities) and takes into account the user's wardrobe. There are 2 ways to create a look:
a random look
(for example, "pink outift")
filters set by the user, the application generates

Recommendations
This feature is a powerful tool for monetizing the app. It is based on the analysis of the user's items and his/her clothing style
The more the user selects the looks he/she likes, the more accurate the selection of clothes from his own things becomes. The app also performs better when creating outfits with missing items or completely new looks from partner brands and randomly selected stores.
The app can distinguish between color, type, style and patterns of clothes to create a look according to the user's preferences.
This feature works in 3 directions:
-
1Creates a completely new look using
recommendations of shops and websites -
2Combines items from the user's wardrobe
and suggests new items that match the look -
3Creates a look entirely
from the user's clothes
Item status tracking + calendar
The Item Status Tracking feature is secondary, but it will have to be implemented for the convenience of the consumer.
It is a reminder that an item has not been worn for a long time or is planned for a particular day. This feature was designed to solve 2 problems:
in the laundry
for a specific look
the look and if he/she needs to check the status of clothes
(washing/repair)

Special software for
offline and online stores
Quite often, shoppers are faced with the question: "Will this item go with the rest of my wardrobe?"
Looker can protect you from agonizing hours in the store and the frustration of a bad purchase by designing store software.

Also, this QR code with information about the item can be used for the Try-on feature.

A simplified drawing of a person
and clothing of the required size
according to the given measurements
for the most successful purchase
The user must specify all measurements in advance.
The exact sizes of the clothes will be collected from
manufacturing companies and gradually added to this feature.

*If there is a desktop version, the user logs into personal account, where his/her parameters are also displayed, and a special button is integrated into the interface.

The app must understand the user's style and what they like, so they should like the looks in the app recommendations
Recommendations or Creating an outfit feature (option #2).
A good example is the Apple Music app, which generates new playlists based on your listening history and selected genres.
For the correct generation of information on clothes with a similar design, the app will analyze the data in 2 stages:

The site will contain popular looks and individual clothing items. It will help customize the user'ss profile so that the items offered by the app are in line with current trends and the style of the user's favorite celebrities. This database will be constantly updated and kept up to date.

Outnet, Wildberries, Farfetch, Amazon and others
Connection of services is an essential point in the app development since they will act not only as a database, but as advertisers and resource for monetizing the app.
