Wardrobe organization

To start using
the app, the user
needs to complete several steps:

  • 1
Take a photo of an item against a contrasting background so that
    the neural net can identify its type and color;
  • 2
Save the result* of the first step in the virtual wardrobe.

In the future updates of the app, the neural network will be able to identify the brand of the item in the photo.

*If the AI has not identified the type of item, then the user
should enter the type, color and other characteristics of the item.

Outfit creation

The main and most interesting
feature for the user is the creation of an outfit with his/her
wardrobe

The first option (saved looks)

The simplest option, yet it helps save the storage used for millions of photos in the user's phone.

Condition Flattering outfits created by the user are saved in the app memory
Solution In accordance with the weather and filters set (for example, "gray pants"), the app generates a look from ready-to-wear and user-saved outfits

The second option (random looks)

The highlight of the app. This method generates looks based on popular images on the web (bloggers,
celebrities) and takes into account the user's wardrobe. There are 2 ways to create a look:

Option #2

(for example, "pink outift")
Solution In accordance with the weather and

Features

Recommendations

This feature is a powerful tool for monetizing the app. It is based on the analysis of the user's items and his/her clothing style

The more the user selects the looks he/she likes, the more accurate the selection of clothes from his own things becomes. The app also performs better when creating outfits with missing items or completely new looks from partner brands and randomly selected stores.

The app can distinguish between color, type, style and patterns of clothes to create a look according to the user's preferences.

This feature works in 3 directions:

  • 1
Creates a completely new look using
    recommendations of shops and websites
  • 2
Combines items from the user's wardrobe
and suggests new items that match the look
  • 3
    Creates a look entirely
    from the user's clothes

Item status tracking + calendar

The Item Status Tracking feature is secondary, but it will have to be implemented for the convenience of the consumer.

It is a reminder that an item has not been worn for a long time or is planned for a particular day. This feature was designed to solve 2 problems:

Problem
Condition
Solution
Problem 1
Condition The item is
in the laundry
Solution The app takes this into account and does not suggest looks with this item. If an item has been "in the laundry" status for a long time, it will remind the user.
Problem 2
Condition The user selects the date
for a specific look
Solution The app reminds the user about the date he/she wanted to wear
the look and if he/she needs to check the status of clothes
(washing/repair)

Special software for
offline and online stores

Quite often, shoppers are faced with the question: "Will this item go with the rest of my wardrobe?"

Looker can protect you from agonizing hours in the store and the frustration of a bad purchase by designing store software.

What is this software?
A QR code is attached to an item in the store
The user points
the camera at it
The item is displayed
in the app
The app matches the photo
with the user's wardrobe

At the last stage, there are 2 options:

Option
Condition
Solution
Option #1
Condition The item matches
the user's wardrobe
Solution The app creates possible looks with
the new item and clothes from the user's wardrobe
Option #2
Condition Item does not match
the user's wardrobe
Solution The app creates potential looks with the item and
indicates where to buy the remaining "look items"

Also, this QR code with information about the item can be used for the Try-on feature.

Try-on

A simplified drawing of a person
and clothing of the required size
according to the given measurements
for the most successful purchase

The user must specify all measurements in advance.

The exact sizes of the clothes will be collected from
manufacturing companies and gradually added to this feature.

This feature works as follows:
The user enters his/her body measurements at
registration
The user points
the camera at a QR code
The item is displayed in
the app on a figurine with
the user's body
measurements
The user sees how thisor that clothing item will suit him/her
For online stores:
The user enters his/her body measurements at
registration
The user points the camera at a QR code / clicks on the button* below the item
The item is displayed in
the app on a figurine with
the user's body
measurements
The user sees how thisor that clothing item will suit him/her

*If there is a desktop version, the user logs into personal account, where his/her parameters are also displayed, and a special button is integrated into the interface.

How does it work?

The app must understand the user's style and what they like, so they should like the looks in the app recommendations

Recommendations or Creating an outfit feature (option #2).

A good example is the Apple Music app, which generates new playlists based on your listening history and selected genres.

For the correct generation of information on clothes with a similar design, the app will analyze the data in 2 stages:

Own base of ready-to-wear looks

The site will contain popular looks and individual clothing items. It will help customize the user'ss profile so that the items offered by the app are in line with current trends and the style of the user's favorite celebrities. This database will be constantly updated and kept up to date.

Additional databases of services such as
Outnet, Wildberries, Farfetch, Amazon and others

Connection of services is an essential point in the app development since they will act not only as a database, but as advertisers and resource for monetizing the app.
